Webley Senior Cocking Linkage

Hi,

I'm hoping to get a bit of advice about a Senior I bought recently. The pistol is in good condition but I have found the cocking linkage seems rather loose - it seems to rattle and move when I pick the pistol up.

I have other Webleys but I have not noticed this issue - is this just something that can happen with old guns as components age? Or is this going to affect performance and needs fixing?

Is the tiny spring, part s37, in place between the linkage bar and cocking shoe? the system may rattle if this is missing or broken
