Might be just me but I couldn't get the link to work.
Forget that above comment please, it's working now.
I'm sticking my neck out as regards a valuation because sometimes there's something about the item being offered that makes it more valuable than it's condition would suggest, but based on a quick glance I'd guess at £75 or so. One of the problems with valuations is that IMHO they've got more credence if the valuation comes from a prospective purchaser as then you actually know what you'd sell it for, but there's no provision via the BBS Sales facility for auctions. And let's face it, there's no point in being told that it's a £140 gun if prospective buyers only want to pay £50 for it.

Hi,
I sold a slightly nicer condition one (grips were good) for £90 a couple of years ago so I’d agree with the above.
Depends what someone’s willing to spend obviously and the cracked grip might put people off.
Cheers,
Matt
Hello,
Your Webley Mk1 would have been one of the last of approximately 55,000 "Straight Grip" models dating it to late 1934 or early 1935 when the "Slant Grip" models were introduced.
These pistols are quite commonly seen in good condition for under £100, so given the overall condition of yours, I would estimate £40-£50 would be realistic for a private sale.
Hope this helps.
Brian
I don't think £80 posted would be robbing anyone. Mach 1.5
Considering the condition of the gun and grips, £50 tops. As someone has already pointed out, there are quite a few better survivors out there.
I paid £70 for one similar on here a couple of weeks ago. The discussion on it should be easy enough to find. Whilst some sellers would have you believe they are rare, out of the approximately 50,000 that were produced, many have survived and they are not hard to pick up in conditions varying from poor/relic to very good. A really nice one may fetch up to £250 as advertised but £125 ish at auction. Chancers ask that for examples that really belong in the scrap bin.
Whilst I personally think that some of the valuations are a little low, Something well south of £100 would be fair for your (not very good) example
Even with the damaged grip, l would say it is still worth £75. just as a nice bit of Webley history to shoot.
How many of those you've seen offered for sale were in the same condition as yours ?Originally Posted by Jackmatt
Appreciate everyones comments, but i cant see any on the internet for sale at those prices ?
Offer it for sale for what you consider it's worth, and see if you get any interest.
