Blimey - a new record maybe......?

I have just watched a full tin of Original Eley Wasp 5.56mm pellets sell for £48.90 plus £3.10 post and pack.

I had no idea they were that valuable.

The accompanying photos were rubbish out of focus shots, so it was difficult to get a clear view of the pellets. The tin looked clean.

Is this a new record for a tin of 5.56mm No2 bore Wasps ? Never ceases to surprise me, the high prices achieved on "The Bay" .

I just had a look on the completed listings and that figure has been achieved before and others that have been full tins have been close. Empty tins don't seem to fair as well.

I'm sure I have some new sealed tins in the garage - might be worth the effort in digging them out

I've got a batch saved for best but as I tend to use FTT or Hobbys, it may be worth letting some go.

    Crazy money.

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

It doesn't often happen but I am speechless. Got 2.5 tins by the way.

I got a few tins. Might plop them in the bay then. Bought mine in 1989/1990 all sealed with original price tag £3.85.
