The kit looks great and the service brilliant but sadly the spring is soooo long (as long as an 80 spring) so back to square one for now!

I have a HW 45 pistol, it's still got the stranded spring in it, I striped it to relube it and to fit a trust bearing to help the spring twist as it cocks and releases, well that was the idea, a thrust bearing, all 5mm of it (including the washers it runs between) was way to thick, after many rebuilds and strips I found that the HW45 with standard parts all you have is a nats over .25mm before it coil bounds. .25 mm is the thickness of a white plastic pill bottle which is what I ended up using as a slip washer (it's not ptfe but it's friction coefficient is pretty close) this plastic washer with air gun moly grease on realy does help the spring move

If it's the 2006 model you have in the for sale section, you might want to mention the problems you're having with it. Your sales thread is a bit misleading.

The problem is the kit spring being too long, it is now totally stock as mentioned in the sales thread, could I be more transparent?

There's no mention of it being apart or the problems you've had. Whether it's the kit or the actual rifle, it's been tinkered with. You could mention this in the sales thread.

So, to answer your question, Yes you could be more transparent.

Just for your information; I was thinking of buying it, but I don't like guns that have been messed with by people who don't know what they're doing. So it made a difference to me. I'm sure it would to others as well.

Fair point, yes it has been apart, I will amend the sales post.

I'd just like to add nothing wrong with the TBT kit, excellent service and goods, it clearly says springs may need adjustment and Nick even has a video tutorial!
It was my assumption it would fit without adjustment that is the issue!!!
