No mention of the Sig Sauer Asp20 gun either.
I suppose the European made guns are not futuristic enough ldconfused.

No taste clearly, unlike over here
Always on the look out for Brum / Venom - Webley Longbow / Tommie rifles and parts.

I might be wrong but I think HW can only be sold rebadged by an American company something to do with post WW2 laws.

Ruger Yukon in .22 is around 28 ftlbs. cheap to buy Around $150

Swiss Arms 288723 is 25 ftlbs in .77.cheap to buy around $150

How many of the european ones can compete with that ?

An HW97 is around $650 in some places in the US .

Not looked at the rest but I would suspect most US shooters would be buying powder burners and buying cheap high power air guns for messing about with .

Makes no odds what they sell them under, as there still isn’t one there.
Yukon is a re-badged Gamo, Swiss Arms a BAM B19, Crosman another B19, Blackhawk a BAM B25, Umarex looks like another B25 and lastly the Tyrant is yet another B19

It's not that, it's all about the advertised FPS. I can show them any of my 8, beautiful TX200's and the first question is, "How fast does it shoot?" It would be the same in England, if everyone was allowed easy access to these hyper powered pieces of junk. I think Pyramid Air pushes whatever has the biggest profit margin.

    Question

Nice names, fast numbers and low prices sell......that's the way it is. It's all business at the end of the day.

It's probably easier to pronounce Ruger and Swiss Arms than Feinwerkbau or Weihrauch for most😎. Who would buy a gun with a foreign sounding or worse a girl's name( Diana), that "only" does 800 FPS in 22 cal for twice the price of something that has a macho name with the figures to match?
Some do and I would too, but it looks like more people would fall for a macho branded Blackhawk with fast numbers and low cost.
    C'est la vie 😉

Who compiled the report ? Was it one shop or Magazine or was it the US equivalent of the Gun trade organization like we have in the UK .

What is the best seller in one shop like Airgun Depot may not be the best seller in Pyramyd Air .

Is there a US equivalent of the UK Gun trade organisation that would get all the figures from ALL the sellers and make the list of top sellers ?

And all Chinese or Gamo with cheapo build quality, rubbish triggers and horrendous shot cycles.
