BSA improved model d cocking link question

    Hi,
I am new to these older guns and am having trouble working out why the broken pin is not coming out? is it threaded? I can see it has been had a got at at some point by the drilling shown on the keeper screw side, Question , surly it should be floating in the shorter link ?? not threaded.. has anyone got a good pic of what each side should look like close up?

Hi yes they are threaded but from only on the one side on the main cocking arm, not on the short one that conects to the piston. it looks to me that someone in the past has put a new bolt in, but not the right one. you might have to drill it out and find a bolt that will fit both cocking arms. good luck.
