Peddy - I often have a rummage in your bin these days even if your not selling anything.

That stock I recently bought from you for £25. I spent several hours stripping the original (sticky) black finish off, paint strippers had little effect, them several more hours sanding it down until I got a decent finish. I then tried some new oil treatment I have found (Balsinoil) but it didn't work so back to the stripper. A quick stain and wax and I sold the finished item last week at Rochdale AGC for £40. It didn't pay for the stripper, the emery paper or the skin off my fingers - but I enjoyed doing it. Heres to our next bin sold

I was, of course, referring to the sign I sneaked onto your stall at the last Adlington Airgun Fair. I still bought that Hamerrli match rifle off you !
On 'Hippo Wrays' stall I sneaked an 'EVERYTHING HALF PRICE' sign. The look of bewilderment when customers were trying to give him a fiver for something clearly marked up at £10 was priceless.

This years Adlington Airgun Fair had to be cancelled, of course, but as soon as things get back to normal, whatever that is, we shall arrange another and advertise it on here.
