    Wildman Slugs

I just bought some 21grain Wildman slugs in .22 for my fac Air Arms S510 extra. I was wondering if anyone else had used them and what they thought?

I’ve always wondered if a round head pellet with a thin skirted rear but without the ‘waist’ would work ? I was thinking they’d expand at the rear to fit the bore better than a slug type and the more streamlined shape would be more aerodynamic.?

Is there anything like that on the market ?

Your description sounds very much like the 'cat slugs' that were around in the '60's. However, the quality of those were very poor and in any case, the shooters I knew weren't into objective testing in those days, so can't answer your questions.

Works OK on my desktop, doesn't actually say anything worth reading anyway.

    Thanks for the link BH
