Wasn’t Lou “Incredible Hulk” Ferringo a big airgun enthusiast in the 70s/80s?

I believe there is a Mk1 Webley air pistol on display at Little Dean jail crime museum (also Quadrophenia display etc) that once belonged to the Krays.

John Bowkett told me he carried out one of his low recoil conversions on a FWB 127 that was used to shoot rats on the set of Brookside the TV series. Several cast members were customers of his. He also had many famous customers in the entertainment business some of whom its best not to mention nowadays

There is indeed. I have a photo somewhere. That's a cracking little museum BTW; it even has one of Saddam Hussein's gold plated toilet seats IIRC

Remember Richard Madeley?? being asked for his, all time, favourite Christmas present. Without hesitation he said "Webley Junior rifle"
