    Crosman 766

I've had this Crosman rifle for ages and have managed to get it all sorted except for the plastic end trims that fit over the end of the pump arm/air chamber. None of my usual parts suppliers have then so if anyone here can help either with these bits or any likely suppliers I would be extremely grateful.

keep an eye on the bay, they do come up... needed some bits from my 2200 (quite a few of the parts interchange), and that's where I found them..
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    Good luck finding the parts.

Always makes me smile when the 766 is mentioned. I have never owned one but always wanted to. The reason is it was John Darling's first air rifle when he did his first AGW articles about hunting. He had left the army, sorting out some of his demons, and absolutely skint. The 766 was cheap and the reason for the choice. .177 they shoot really well being pneumatics though keep the range sensible. He soon upgraded to a uality springer as they are faster.

I remember my friend trying to pump up my 766 and he wouldn't open the pump arm fully on each stroke. I told him "clack the blooming thing open" so he did and he broke the plastic fore part thingy . ..... bastard. Worked fine without it.

    Have a 766 in bits.
    Barrel /shroud.
Pump arm with plastic forend, and pump cylinder.
The forend is missing the tip.
    Anything here.?

Thanks for the thread. As you can see, I don't check this site very often.
The bit I'm missing is the left hand side plastic end piece that fits round the pump tube and the barrel.
I've had to fit a smoothbore barrel so yours would be a bonus if not too expensive.
