Air Arms S410 or 22 BSA Ultra SE PMG

    Hi guys.

I'm looking to buy my first legal limit PCP In 22 calibre sometime soon, and I quite like the look of the following 2 rifles. Which of the 2 would you buy.

The Air Arms S410 or the BSA Ultra SE PMG.

    Thanks guys.

I'm not sure though what the shot count Is on the BSA Ultra. But I don't think It's as good as the Air Arms.

The ultra se is much lower shot count than the standard s410 and still a fair bit less than the s410k. I love (and own) both rifles but the s410 is probably the better rifle in terms of how well made and accurate they are.

I've had both rifles in .177 - I preferred the S410 much more.

It had a better shot count, it was more accurate and, just generally nicer to use.

    All of the above.

    had both loved both
depends on what its for, target shooting = s410, vermin = ultra
both of mine were one hole groupers at 25 yards, s410 was slightly better past that, but i loved how compact the ultra was for barn work.
up till this week i was going to buy another ulta or s#10 for my birthday, but ive decided i want the hw100 kt laminate instead lol

    s410/ultra

i've had several brand's of pcp's in the past,hw100k's in both calibers, air arms s410 in both & a bra ultra in .22, after selling most of them on, i ended up with 2 hw100k's in .22,i wanted a .177, so i got a new air arms s410F carbine in .177,more than happy with it.i can't fault it.

Hi, a BSA Scorpion would be more of a direct alternative to an S410 due to similar shot count etc, basically an ultra with a longer barrel and cylinder. Worth a look.
