I use 2 piece on all my springers with no issues.

Yea tx200 not that much recoil really, its a hawke scope so mounts should be decent quality.

Depends on the amount of recoil & quality of the mounts.
If they're single strap mounts I'd chuck them & fit either double strap or a one piece.
The TX I had was pretty lively, one of the reasons I hate them.

Using two piece mounts on a TX here just fine. Plenty of competition shooters I know do as well.

The only TX I have known 2 piece mounts move on was a TX200SR, much to my embarrassment ... a one piece mount solved the issue.

A lot of people say 1 piece are better looking on a springer but I disagree.

As long as the rear mount has a arrestor pin fitted and they are tightened up enough double mounts will be fine.

Although (depending on the gun / recoil / quality of mounts) in many cases 2 piece mounts will be fine, I prefer the extra reassurance of a one piece item where mounting constraints allow.

HW80K target shooting session recently, I just thought "This is bloody uncomfortable".

The 2 piece scope mounts had marched back toward me as far as they could go and the scope itself had slithered within the mounts as far back as it could go. Explanation for crap shooting and 'a pain in the neck'.

Tighten and crimp the scope tube? No. Put some crayon marks on and check them each session.

I used the T04C Sportsmatch, (6 screws per ring), two piece rings to mount my 3x9 40 mm Hawke scope. The rear ring uses a stop pin that I pushed to the rear when torqueing the 2 base screws. With the two piece rings I can space them to match the scope tube. I have about 50/75 shots through the HW95L and these rings seem to be secure. Good luck.
