Giving Tone a welcome break from bouncing this back up the page. Sadly, with the way things are unravelling, it's going to be a long winter before 'spring' is finally here....

Yep, unprecedented weird times we're living in. And BST ends this weekend. Thinking back, Mick would often be hosting the last Bash of the year on the weekend the clocks go back, so a weird weekend of great memories tempered by these strange times.

Keep The Boing going, peeps; we'll be reunited once these days pass.

Well it looks like a frustrating bringer weekend for me. Optisan CP 3 x 12 x 32 has arrived. The mounts haven't!! So looks like waiting till Monday before I can mount it.
Looks like a good scope though

    Lovely.

Shame about the mount, though, although guessing you'll still have a fair few toys to play with?

Which rifle is it going on?

Have you shot with Ted recently?

    Good news the mounts arrived!
New scope is working well on the 97. Moved the prostaff onto my 98. They have had a good outing today.
Not seen Ted at the club for a little while but he shot there a couple of weeks ago Tone

Great news re the mounts, Pete. Great to hear you're happy with it. With the scope's breeding and having read about the a little, hardly a surprise. The Prostatfs are lovely too. And both on lovely, boingery HWs.

Give my warmest regards to our Ted when you do bump into him.

Interested in the Optima myself, probably the fixed mag 10x32 model.
What’s it like in low light ?

In all honesty, I have better. The isn't an illuminated ret option. This is my only complaint, you can lose the ret. Fine during the day though

To be honest I have only used it on one murky Saturday. I will have it out again tomorrow alongside my 10x44 Optisan evx. It will be interesting comparison

Sounding like it might be a little murky and windswept today, Pete.

And now the second lockdown coming, Pete.

    Can you play at home?
