Just about enough for some nice, tight one-holers unsupported then, Pete.

I'm in the process of restoring a very badly neglected BSA Cadet Major Tone. It was orange and seized up after 20 years in a damp loft. I've stripped it, removed all the rust and found some very good clean metal although slightly pitted. I've made a couple of bits on the lathe for it, re-assembled and it now shoots beautifully around the 5-6 ftlb mark. The next stage is refurbishing the stock although i'm not going to go mad with it as i'd like to keep it as original as possible. I've also bought myself a Diana 56 Air King!!!!!

    Marvellous, Mikey.

Well done on reviving the Cadet Major. A lovely little classic and well worthy of rescue and loving attention.

You probably know already, but Protek and Knibbs both good sources for bits etc. Wonder if a decent stock may be found cheaply.

Nice one on the Diana too.

And always remember........YOU CAN'T HAVE TOO MANY BOINGERS!

I am going to see if I can make a 0 ring seal work in my mk1 Meteor. Never been happy with it since the leather washer perished

Nice one and very nice one, in that order Mike. I've sold a few and have tried to concentrate on improving what I have. My .25 cal hw80 has been tweeked and the .20 cal hw80 has had new spring and guides. Oh and the mk2 hw77 has been switched to a diopter.

    Excellent.

What diopter set up did you go for on the 77?

80? Standard HW guide? (I know you quite like them, like me). Which spring Mark?

Sounds like you've been having fun too Mark. I love the idea of the diopter sight on the HW77
