Ah, my bad, Jon. Sorry. You're the man with these and your parachute sealed Meteor certainly impressed when you let me have a go with it. For some reason I thought you used a 25mm HW seal.. Do you have to size the 26mm down a tad?

they are 1" bore, 25.4mm... some 26mm seals will need sizing, and some not, depends on the combination of tolerances..
But I can say a 25mm will be too loose
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

An extended and enjoyable sesh I guess, Pete?

Shrinking TX but bulging muscles eh??????

And a big, beaming smile that can only derive from a tactile and rewarding springer sesh.

Session cut short by the rain Tony. Horrid drizzle blowing into the shelter. Never mind better than sitting at home

Ah, now there's me thinking that any shrinkerage would be down to lots of use....like Dave's tinkywinky!

But the other half of me guessed it might be down to it getting pissedwetthrough. Hope it's all nicely dried and looking shiny and sparkly again now.

Highly frustrating is that wet stuff, Pete. We've just enjoyed a couple of dry days (no shooting, unfortunately) and we're due the rain tomorrow.

Would you have the space / opportunity to set up a little indoor range, Pete? If your partner agrees, it can be set up safely and with no damage or mess. And plinkies can be enjoyed even when it's properly minging outside. If you don't have what you consider to be ideal short range hardware, it'd give you an excuse to treat yourself to a new toy or three.
