    Rekord safety issue

I have a stiff safety on a rekord trigger, I can't see anything wrong and it works fine but is a hard push and click.

The bent tab on the rear of the frame is my guess but does anyone know which way to bend it?

    Thanks

Ive spent many a happy hour trying to sort out the safety catches on various HWs. All I can suggest is make small adjustments and notes of which way you move it.
    Good luck.

Tab measurements. Front to back 50 mm and 8.75 mm across. On the other platform too.

    Thank you
, had it apart (again) and all is smooth and nice until the latch is under tension of the spring, in other words cock the gun hold the tension and press the safety nice, pull trigger and reset all fine, let the tension go and then its stiff to click

Stupidly I should have put my other trigger in to eliminate but thats next

Sounds as tho' it's trying to release under main spring force which is normal but in your case tolerances are allowing too much contact between intermediate sear and safety. Is the trigger pull set very light? If so try screwing in in steps and check safety action.

Had the same with a record trigger on an 80, the last pull of cocking the rifle was gritty & required an extra pull, a bit like a tx200. Anyway i was lucky enough to get a replacement unit off Portzy(thanks David, i did what you asked by the way) which has transformed the rifle to what it should be.
