Well I've had a few TX's and a couple of 97's over the years.
I know I'm going to get shouted at but the 97's were rubbish (twangy and inaccurate) but the TX's were good, apart from the HC which was dire. Just my opinion! But a full length TX is a class act.

Got a HW 97kt, after warranty expired added a tinbum kit which transformed it! My go to vermin gun for the garden, David
Love my 97K in .22 , all tunes and so smooth. Waiting on a nice new stock for it.
i had one years ago it was a very nice gun
I am fortunate enough to have numerous springers in my collection including various models of Air Arms, BSA, Diana, Feinwerkbau, Original, Walter, Webley and Weihrauch. The best shooting gun ‘out of the box’ in my opinion is the .22 Air Arms TX200 HC
Get a mk1 or early hw80, I have quite a few springers and have had loads in the past but my grab a gun Springer is a old looking its age mk1 hw80 with open sights,
thats what i was thinking tony full length tx
carlos i let a old hw80 go a few years back biggest mistake i ever made lovely gun
Hw77k is a nice shooting .22 Mk1 or 2 if possible.
Hw77+7
decided on the tx200
