as said the fx are good, not tried the hills, but in all honesty its a shed load of effort, i gave up after two fills and went back to a dive bottle

I had a Hills pump when I had my Falcon FN19 years ago, since I recently bought a HW100 I bought a bottle too, much easier, wouldn't like to have to go back to pumping!

Hi,
I've got a Hill Mk4 that I bought at the start of lockdown because both my 3ltr and 7ltr bottles were nearly empty. I don't have any problem filling my R10 or HW101.
That being said, there was a thread recently, where quite a few people had good experiences with £30 pumps from the auction site.
Cheers,
Mark.
i have a Hill Mk3 pump, pumping is easy, especially on a HW carbine 105cc cylinder
lard ass beer swilling couch potatoes will tell you to get a dive cylinder
. . . Please INDICATE when overtaking cyclists !!
I have a Hills pump with associated dry pack. Fills my HW100 up no problem and you get a good workout at the same time.
Exactly!
It's a question of converting delicious Donner Kebabs to High Pressure Air - and not lard.
I wasn't going to pipe up and make that point but have to agree with someone who has.
I was at a friends place who bought a used pump for his rifle and I gave him a free one (if you'll pardon the expression). Yes I was sweating with the effort by the time the gun was filled but I made a mental note that it was not too much work ....and cheap.
Needs dry air, and that's what I don't understand the reality of tho.
P1V1overT1=P2V2overT2
Thank you all for taking the time to reply. How many pumps will it take to fill the hw100 carbine air cylinder please ? Suppose there is no way of manually pumping the bottle then
