    I read in an old AGW that before airgun magazines you would occasionally see a letter from an airgun enthusiast in a Country Sports type of magazine.
    You would then write to the publisher asking for the letter writers address, write to them directly and open a line of communication for some airgun chat!

    What a palaver!

    We are indeed lucky these days.
