First 'adult size' PCP

Been thinking about buying a PCP. As I've got older, find my springers more difficult to use for pigeon control. As I live out in the sticks, & don't drive, would prefer a light one that can be pumped, rather than using a tank.
Shot count isn't that important. It will just be used when the pigeons attack our veg.
Any recommendations on gun/pumps?

Bsa ultra, I love mine, nice and light, about 50 shots in .22, though I’ve now got a longer cylinder on mine so get 85. And can be picked up cheaply enough used.

Falcon or aa400, lower pressure easier to fill, decent shot count.

Got it spot on, although if the OP’s budget could run to a large capacity 300 bar carbon fibre bottle it would be much easier than a pump

Hmm. looks like a BSA will be looked for. Didn't realise their PCP's went as low as 6lb in weight. Shows how much I'm out of date. Guess it would make for continuity - till my arm started playing up used to use a modern Meteor for closer range pigeons, & a '70's 'Sporter for longer. Find my HW35's too heavy nowadays. And I've always thought of myself as a Webley man!
