Small pleasure - airsporter mk 2

    Hi All
Just finished rebuilding a airsporter mk2
The self opening tap is a thing of beauty - I just love it - its almost worth shooting it just to see it open
I realise this may be a symptom of the times of course but .... !!!!!
How could BSA do away with it later models ?
It must have cost about a quid
Still ,am happy to have it in the collection
Special thanks to Rob @ Emmas Custom Guns who found me a pair of mounts for the 4 slot scope mount
    Happy days
    STAY SAFE

My dad bought me a used one to replace the slavia break barrel I'd bought new in Coopers.
At thirteen it seemed a beast in comparison

yes, the mk1, mk2 and the club were all excellent.. then downhill from there in terms of quality...

I think I just have the club left now.. they just shoot nicer in .177
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I'm on the final stretch of a bit of a refresh on a friends mk2, wasnt a collector's piece by any stretch but after some tlc its shooting nicely and the wood is coming up a treat. Never tire of the simple mechanism for the tap loader.

Be good. And if you can't be good, be good at being bad.
