How does the scope rail come off ?
Removed the screws and not budging
Any suggestions don't want to break it finding another almost impossible

Cheers I know about the location lug would heat free it up

The rail just needs drifting forwards towards the muzzle until the lug is free of the keyway it shouldn't need any heat.

as above,use a block of wood,then tap it with a mallet/hammer

Attached an old scope mount and warmed it up a bit gave it a tap someone had put something under their now to remove what looks like 30 year congealed old tractor grease
