awesome mate. That's probably my only criticism of Kempton - it's so popular, it can get tricky to walk around..!

Looks like we shoudl be fine on Sunday; really looking forward to it

Loaded up and ready to go.

    I don't think we'll disappoint.....we've 10 tables!

Well done Pete and Liz for pulling this together at such short notice.

Yes, it can take me an hour to get from one end of the hall to the other!

Can't believe Tim has 10 tables. Can't wait to see what he brings and what other traders bring too.

    Binners

You've done a Sterling job of getting the event sorted out under the circumstances at present, I'll definitely be there tomorrow.

Just a few hours to go.....

If you haven't made your mind up about going or may be put off by the wet weather outside, just think: there will be hundreds if not thousands of vintage airguns on offer, not to mention other militaria and antique firearms. With the threat of more and more lockdown restrictions on the horizon, who knows when the next fair of any size will be held?

So, come on over. You never know - you may find something special for the collection.

Oh and did I mention the charity Peter is collecting for?

Let's make this a fair to remember.

    Good hunting all.

Nice one Binners and Mrs Binners.

Plenty of space, sanitiser everywhere, track and trace operative and everyone that could, wearing face coverings.

    Well done chaps.

Good to catch up with a few fellow collectors, at a sensible distance of course.

Learnt a bit, always do at these things. Thanks to the two gents who took the time to discuss the 1890s musket bench rest rifle with me, and the chap with the world war era German stick grenades, fascinating stuff. Who knew they came in winter and summer flavours.

Of course, I came away with a curiosity or two, a genuine barracuda completely devoid of rust, worm and rot, how the hell it made it this far south still baffles me. Then up, a Webley supermatch, yes, a supermatch not supertarget. Far to rare to have been below Watford, especially in this condition. I had room in my pocket for something dinky, so an anson firefly made itself apparent to me. At that point, I was proper skint but still made another couple of circuits.

Even without any spends left, there's a lot of interesting stuff to peruse.

Add to all that, macmillan, will have benefitted due to the event.

Enjoy a well earned rest, the pair of you.

    Hi Dave,

I saw that too but did not get a chance to photograph it. Can you tell me what markings appear on the cylinder if that's OK?

    Kind regards,

    John
