    They've got the description wrong.
    The case does not contain an original Valvespout oil can, it contains a removable spout oil can, with a hell of a lot of difference in price between the two, but I would hope anyone prepared to bid for such a rifle would know the difference, and I don't know why they specifically mention a reblued barrel as the whole rifle has been reblued.

    I tend to agree this engraving doesn't improve the rifle at all, and in some ways detracts from it mightily. But I can't help but admire the great skill that went into decorating it. Very hard to imagine actually using it, ever...

    I do like engraving, but that is not the best l have seen. but l wouldn't say no to it all the same.

    Yes, absolutely, very skilful. And good luck to whoever’s boat it floats. Dull old world if we were all the same etc.

    I agree, not for everyone and as David notes, the oil can and pellet tin are both post-war.
