    BSA Silver Star 12FPE

    https://www.bsaguns.co.uk/air-rifles...lver-Star.aspx

I am looking for a ambi stocked air rifle with adj butt and cheek piece with T bar cocking as a trainer.

I have breifly handled one and it seems to fit the bill as a possible trainer.

I thought the trigger on the shop gun was awful... bit creepy and very very heavy.

Anyone got hands on experience of use, reliability and general plus Vs minus.....

    Thanks

I have a 6ft/lb variant. The trigger seems OK to me, as good as my R10 was, possibly the same unit. Mine has a long first stage and then a quite crisp let off. No reliability issues but mine hasn't seen a lot of use. Its still for sale if you want one.

They have JB's self regulating valve systems in them. One with 6 ft/lbs settings and the other sub 12 ft/lbs. The 6 ft/lbs version is the one fitted to cadet Scorpions, JSR? Ultra and Italian export models which are strictly controlled in that country to 6 unless a special licence is held.
