Number of Webley Mark 1 rifles left in existence

In Thrales’s excellent book on Webley rifles at the end of the section on the Mark 1 he speculates that perhaps 24% are left in existence? Given the quality of these rifles I can’t understand his pessimism? I think it would be far higher, double or triple that? I think the low number of recorded guns on his list would reflect more the low number of collectors of Airguns?

The serial numbers of the Webley Mk.1 rifles in Chris's book were compiled from lists from various sources, the main one being John Atkins, plus others from a thread I started on this forum, but since the book went to print, as John Milewski has said, a few more have come to light and I daresay a few more will in the future, so any guesstimates of how many are still in existence are jut that, guesstimates.
I've only ever managed to purchase two Mk.1 rifles, one of which is now in Peter's excellent collection, and the other still remains with me, for now.
