    Pro Target Pellets

I have an Air Arms Pro Target in 177.
Due to worn out knees and spine I haven't shot it or FT for a number of years so have lost touch with what pellets are available.
I'm now shooting the lazy way doing bench rest shooting at 25m. Any suggestions as to what pellets are performing the best in this rifle? Advice on weights and sizes appreciated.

I always try JSB exacts first in any rifle.

Great to see you’re still on here, Keith. QYS domed have gone brilliantly thorough the last few ProTargets that I’ve played with mate. Drop me a pm if you want a few sending in the post.

    Gramps,

For me, I would look at the JSB 'trio' (RS, Express, and Exact), JSB Heavy, Qiang Yuan (QYS) Streamlined , and Qiang Yuan (QYS) Domed.

Information on these pellets can be found here :

    QYS : https://www.qiang-yuan.eu/index.php/en/

    JSB : https://www.schulzdiabolo.cz/en/pellets/

Have fun & a good weekend

    Best regards

    Russ

The standard " go to " pellet JSB 8.44 and 4.52 go very well in mine , and if doing a b/r competition card I will weigh (sad I know) in batches.

    My thanks for the replies.

Once I have modified the fore end to fit my front rest I'm going to have some work to do.

At least I have a set of electronic scales to sort out pellet weights.
