JSB Hades Pellets - Pretty Good!

I don't normally fall for gimmicky pellets: Thunderblast, Zombiekillerz, Ultra Penetrators etc etc however....

JSB Hades piqued my interest after reading some reviews. The heads are domed with a kind of Radiation warning symbol cut into them and are supposed to expand more than regular domed. Not sure about this but my Zbroia PCP loves them! Cloverleaf groups at 25yds and easily as good as it's preferred diet of AA Fields.

Worth a try. I bought a 50 pellet trial pack and I'm now going to order a full tin or two.

Just my 2p worth. They might surprise you?

They perform very well in my S410E FAC out to 50yards. Many rabbits and squirrels taken.

I usually use JSB Exact Express but had to buy Air Arms Express.

The ordinary Exacts are good but the express whack harder.

    Tried some polymags... decent groups....

Just bought some Hades but none sent down the range yet

They're a good pellet they were spot on in my cricket .22 and my pals running an fac cricket at 35ftlb he's doing phenomenal shots 80 100 yard head shooting rabbits the mess they make is like a rimmy has hit them. Very good pellet.

I have a tin of the .25 Hades to try through my fac Impact after I pick up the new 700mm stx barrel for it that is waiting for me at my local rfd. Fingers crossed for good weather this weekend to do a bit of pellet testing.
One shot, one kill. Not luck, just skill.

They don't expand much at 12ftlb but they do stop almost as fast and dump their energy quickly. Unlike flat heads they are accurate at medium and long ranges.

They performed better in my diana 34 than Express and they were good. 10 shots within a inch at 25yards (which is good for me with a springer) in my p10 they had the same poi as exact. Will try them for ratting at some point as even bisley mags pass through them sometimes which isn't good in a cattle shed!

To be honest they don't expand all that much with 40+ftlb but they are accurate both in my sub 12 Scorpion & FAC Rapid 25cals.

Photo in the linked thread is .25cal FX hybrid, Hades & Polymag recovered from "balistic jell" at 42yds shot with the Rapid.

Not tried these in .25, but have been experimenting with this calibre in my 80k, the polymags are fantastic, but a bit to heavy in sub 12, for me .25 ftt's a near 2nd & a better weight.
I also have a tin of the jsb lead free 25's, fps is the same as the polymags, but the lead free don't deform when shot in to wood.

Just ordered 10 tins of ftt's in 25 from the site sponsor

I have a tin of .177 sat waiting for some fine weather tomorrow. Will report back, weather permitting, if they do any good in springer and pcp.
Be good. And if you can't be good, be good at being bad.

Last Wednesday a chap at Atherton Indoor Range gave me about 30 pellets to try. My Huntsman HR loved them.
If he's there next Wednesday I'll ask if I can swap a few pellets and I'll try them in my S410.
