    .30 cal sabots

    just had a try again and they all hit the sand which is a good sign but i havent many left.
    i got mine many years ago from peter lawman, anyone know where i can obtain more ?
    if i cannot get a consistent group i will jack it in but it did look promising lol

    Is thatthe old Remington accelerator ammo?
    I don't think it's been made for a long time.
    The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

    I tried to get some of these off Peter 20 years ago and he didnt have any.
    He told me he wasnt get any more as they werent very good!

    I got these sabots from Peter yonks ago and decided to make a few rounds up .
    Tried in sand pit and all 3 hit in same area , slightly high and right .
    I couldn’t see due to muzzle flash lol
    What group be like on paper I don’t know as lockdown as occurred .
    I have around 40 ish left but it’s just to see if I can group where every one else as not lol

    Waiting to go to range and do some more testing and see if consistent and accurate first .

    not the best pic but it shows you what they are...... .308 case and .223

    plenty of you tube videos about it but accuracy is an issue but fun factor is good......sent you a pm

    Why not? I made a few for the 38 and they work fine. I haven’t trie for accuracy yet but will next week just for fun. Quite slow to print but left on overnight produces 40 or so at a time.

    OK, interesting. I've got a couple of tubs of the old Sabot Airgun ammo, I remember they weren't very consistent accuracy wise.

    Probably as biodegradable as the bullet they contain.
