    Nothing wrong with N140 and I had good results with N150 too with 77gn bullets.
    And you can always get it!

    Hi, have you got the recipe for N150 please *as in min / max load. Always good to store for the future as I've got 2 kilos of that.

    just to close the thread with thanks to all who helped ....

    77 grain SMK's / 23.8 grains of varget / CCI small rifle primers / Nosler custom brass 2.290 COAL (ten thousand off the lands) and it's clover leafing at 200m. Very impressed indeed.

    I'm using 23.9 gns in Lapua brass, that's the only difference. (Didn't want to give the exact load in my previous post; its always best to do your own development. good shooting to you)

    my .223 and.308 loves varget but i put it away now and use vit 120 and vit 135 in those calibres.
    only got 4 tubs of varget so one day you might see them on antiques roadshow as i dont think we will ever use it as its too precious lol
