What were the prewar repeating rifles?

    Only three come to mind:
    1. Haenel 33 and variants
    2. Haenel V with rotary magazine
    3. CZ VZ35

There's this unusual EM-GE Krone repeater, which has an extended version of the Zenit-M pistol magazine.

Also this strange Gem-type repeater (scroll down)

    Lots of early American repeaters...

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

There are a few fascinating examples on the excellent vintage airguns gallery, have a look under BSA.

Presumably BB guns don’t count like the Daisy 40, Tell 200 etc?

Well, as the VZ35 & Haenel 33 are ball-shooters, we should include such items as:

Tell / Mars 200-shot (several versions)
    Tell 1708
    Mars / Bonna military trainers
    Menz Olympia 36
    Muller 'Blitz' various models
    Stella VZ36
    FLZ XXX

    Probably numerous others...

Sorry for being a bit deceptive, the pic I took above is actually a Staudenmeyer repeating pistol, Does anyone know if he made a repeating rifle ?

Dave, would like to know who owns this now. I took photos on the kitchen table of our late old friend Keith Bayliss, well known collector on here. I see that Staudenmeyer did make a repeating air rifle, its in our vintage gallery....
