It's really good to see this 6 yard PCP air pistol competition under way, and I hope it will gain more support in a few days time when the new competition starts 1st Jan - end of July 2021.

There are still many 10 meter air pistol shooters that regard a 6 yards air pistol competition that is shot with PCP match air pistols to be a waste of time because (they say) that it will be too easy.

My response to these doubters is to "put your money where your mouth is" and get your entry in to show us how it should be done!

My experience over the years is that nobody finds it easy to score above their current 10 meter average when shooting in the MPL at 6 yards - and some even find it difficult to match it!

This is a worthwhile air pistol competition, and shooing at 6 yards on the NRSA Air 8-18 6 yard air pistol targets that we use is a genuine challenge that can be shot from home - and this is very handy when many club ranges remain closed and several shooters have to shield and stay at home.

Thanks to bootneckbob and sibbard for getting things moving. I hope you wont be discouraged by the lack of support this year and hope you will both enter again next season and that you gain some more support from other PCP air pistol shooters who will enjoy competing against you at 6 yards.

    Merry Christmas !

    Bob.
