    Hello Nitro,

John Bowkett is an engineer who specialises in pneumatics, his design innovations are well known in the world of airgunning. He designed and helped build the Titan range of airguns back in the 1980's, which later became Falcons. He does work now on BSA's mainly but still offers a service on the early Titan and Falcon models as well. He's based in Birmingham and once a gun is fettled by John Bowkett you know it's performance will be spot on, he takes great pride in his work. You can find his phone number by doing a search on the forum and lots of glowing references as well but John does not have a website or come online as far as I'm aware, I spoke to him a month or two back. His fees vary depending on the work needed but a basic service is around £75 upwards if I remember correctly.

    Hope this helps

Price will depend on the work you want but a full blueprint on an S10 is around 70 quid. Jon isn't to far from you, he's based in Solihull.
    I'm telling you it moved!

hi nitro hes a chap that deals in bsa and airarms and serveral others and is a master at tuning he has a vast knowledge in the internals of these guns and manufactures his own regulators which inproves the flow and ammount of the air used for each shot which gives a greater shot and more consistant shots he also does blueprinting if im not wrong thats where he ll strip your gun and rebuild it the way the original drawing states with closer tolerancesgiving a much smother gun
wanted s410k in .177 same as in my sig

If I remember correctly, John works for himself but is a long time consultant/designer for BSA, having designed/help to design the Ultra, Hornet, S10 & Scorpion to name but a few, hence he's extensive knowledge of these rifles.

In addition & already mentioned, what he & Steve Pope don't know about air rifles isn't worth knowing, so both will be able to turn your rifle for you or be it, both tuners have their favourites/speciallity areas.

When Xmas is over & my pockets have had time to recover, I'll be taking my Hornet, the short distance across the second city to get John to blueprint it

would he also be able to get hold of a couple of minor spare parts ?
and if your gun is shooting a bit underpowered will he correct it in the process of blueprinting it ?
    thanks,
