    I do love the tempest for some plinking, she looks rough but had new spring ect last year and a new set of grips, also sent many caged rats to heaven. Accurate and functional 👍

    My favourite for spring powered plinking is a SMK25 in .177 - though not seen one for sale in years!
    16 inch long, break barrel, 450 fps, nice trigger and not a wrist breaker

    Wembley senior .22 for me, had it about 53 yrs, close second is BSA .22 Scorpion, third place Crosman pump ups .177 & .22

    Not used but interesting:

    Gamo Center/Target

    Browning Buckmark

    Avoid:

    Anything SMK. Newer “Webley” Typhoon. Browning 800. Hatsan Supercharger.
