    Protecting laminate stock

Is there any wax or protective materials to protect a laminate stock, as a friend just got a hw110 laminate

I have a few laminate stocks and read recently that natural bee's wax is a good, so ordered some from amazon this week but haven't tried it yet

I suppose it depends on what's on there in the first place. I prefer oil myself every few years followed a polish every now and again.
Beeswax alone can be hard to apply, something with a little thinners may be better.
I prefer Liberon wax. A little goes a long way.
Keep the oil and Polish off the checkering.
