Very true. There used to be - when I went to the pub pre CV19 - an old bloke sat in the corner most days, looked like an old style tramp. Saw him a few weeks back, doing some shopping, in a newish top of the range Jag.
In nearby Ledbury there's a little old woman, most people assume she's a 'bag lady', & some staff don't like having her in their shop. She is actually very well off, just prefers people not to know.
