So, now have faultless feeding, full power Gamo
This one didn't like JSB type so much, slightly disappointing as the softer pellets are my choice round farm buildings
Shoots very tight groups with Bisley Superfield, FTT 5.53 and fractionally best of all with HW branded FTT 5.51s

Apart from the bump in the road with the faulty one, I'm thrilled with the accuracy and handling for 300 quid

I'm really happy I made the right choice, and recommend the GX40s, though I guess it depends where from / how much

I'm glad you managed to get it sorted and now have a gun that you are happy with. Like you I like to support British based companies where I can, not always possible in some cases. The fact that I'm left with a chuck away gun when out of warranty if a parts needed puts me off paying a lot for anything from SMK, though the Artemis range are very well made mostly.
I was looking at the gx40 as a dedicated NV ratter, but the pr900 won purely on price as I was skint at the time.
I'm really surprised it doesnt like jsb, have you tried heavies?

Not tried heavies with it being a 22
The HW / FTTs are great accuracy and efficiency so will stick with them

The bigger 5.54 and 5.55 are great in older Webleys / BSA’s

I've learnt something there. I've wanted to use FTT in other guns but the pellet has been too tight, so the hw pellet is a great idea
