    Thank you Len.

That's something I had not seen before.

Do you know if the Fairport factory used similar stickers or were they exclusive to Canada?

    Kind regards,

    John

I cannot be absolutely certain if they were exclusive to Canada or not.
I have seen at least one other variation of the sticker that was about twice the height of the one in the pic. Can't say for sure if that was the US version or not.
The stickers were often applied over the Fairport roll stamp on the Canadian made guns.

Canada did produce some guns with unique characteristics.

    There we go,
the person who contacted me confirmed he lives in Canada so it all makes sense now.

Thanks for the info, something else to add to the knowledge.

I dug my 600 out today for a plink and realised it doesn’t have Crosman written on it anywhere - just “CO2 semi-automatic” in the recess on the right hand side and a number 72 stamped in squint on the flat just in front of the grip and above the trigger on the left hand side. Would the 72 be a serial number?

    No, not a serial number.
Most likely the year of manufacture.

I thought they only made them between 1960 - 1970?
