    I apologise, as I can now see your comment related to the 'base plate' whereas I thought you were saying the entire yellow colouration was a shadow... doh!

    that chromed 240 does look very good...

    Was never keen on these from past experience until I realised they could be accurised very easily by enlarging the false muzzle diameter. The pellets can be deflected at the false muzzle during recoil when leaving the real barrel muzzle which is way back from the end of the pistol.
