just watch a couple, it seems straight forward to operate wifi connectivity and pocket size. 120 shot recordable.
    Theres a few versions available.
Did not realise that there was Chronos at this price range available, for what i need i think it will be great to get me started.
Only thing im not so fussed on is it uses a rod setup to attach to the barrel.

Thank you very much for the info, i might just pick one up to get me started.
It was Lostkiwi who pointed me towards it. I also used it on a cheapo BB pistol we have and it worked fine. A chrono definitely helps you get more out of your rifle as well as being pretty much essential to stay the right side of the legal limit. Mine dropped significantly in power/speed and it turned out a quick barrel clean completely sorted it. I’d have had no idea without one!

Thanks a lot for the info you all provided.
I picked up the x3005 after looking around for £25
As was mentioned it's compact and seems reasonably made.

I have one further question I'm sorry.
The chrono requires the weight and size of the pellet before measurement.

    The weight I totally understand.
The size tho? Is this the head size (width)
or the overall length. (From top to bottom)
Same with everything it's easy when you know how.

Now that is a new one on me. Weight can be in grams or grains. But size? I have never known a chrono where the size is needed... especially as it does not figure in any of the mathematical calculations.
Or is it super refined such that they need to know how much the pellet will interrupt the light beam? Somehow I think not.

But am willing to learn .....

    Cheers, Phil

All it needs is velocity & weight, size makes no difference to the maths
The only possible thing I can think of is maybe it makes the sensors more sensitive for smaller calibres ?
Other than that it's just being nosey
