Webley Sidewinder inlet valve opinion please

Thanks for looking. Leaking valve. Should it be indented by seating? If not is dressing a wise option please?

Have a look on the Chambers website for parts diagrams, if it's the same as the Raider valves then the early ones were prone to leaks, fitting a later type valve works, they were brass with an o-ring, I changed mine and it's been no problem.

It doesn't look like it has an indent if this is the right one, Jules ? :-

That looks like a 'serviceable item '.
doubt you can successfully replace the o ring ........worth a try though .

    fit a new one .
why is the face indented ? does it sit on a sharp edge ?

Thanks all. Here it is. The blue bit is artistic appendage. The seating is not sharp as such just brinelling the synthetic over time. Added a bit of inner tube to prove the rest of the system short term and holds OK. The B&K version looks a good bet but can't find it on their site?? Thanks

Thanks Mick. Will ask them if it's for sidewinder too. Looks good. Typical. Ordered seals from them before seeing this. Jules
