    book valuation please

Hi, i was recently given from a friends estate The book, webley rifles 1925-2005 by christopher thrale, its author signed on the inner page and dated oct 2010, so probably 1st printing, its not of interest to me, but would like to sell and give his widow the money, it has fly cover and looks pretty much unread.any idea if it has any special value would be appreciated prior to advertising, thanks

    Books

Cheapest new on fleabay is £43.63

Secondhand in nice nick I'd imagine around £30 unless a signed copy makes any difference.
Always on the look out for Brum / Venom - Webley Longbow / Tommie rifles and parts.

Not really a realistic valuation though is it?

That's as real as anything. The value is what someone will pay. So between £5 and £30 secondhand. They will become rarer of course, hanging on to a copy for later might be a good move.

I'm a big fan of the book and would agree with Brano that £30 + P&P would be fair for an 'as new' copy

You might have to wait a while buying new and holding on.

You'd be better served selling the one you have now. Say £10
