    Venom 77k

    You could also try to find one of Venom's own branded scopes. They did a 4 x 32pa, 6 x 40pa, 3-9 x 40pa and of course a 2-7 x 32pa. Best of luck. Mach 1.5

I best put up a wanted ad, see what I get offered.

A Venom branded scope would be great, I bet they don't come cheap.

I'm guessing back when these first come onto the FT scene .177 was still the preferred choice?

Also look for the Lisenfeld range of scopes. German glass and Venom stocked these when they were based at the Gun Barrel Works. Mach 1.5

I'm guessing now V-mach is gone, hybrid piston seals aren't going to be available for these.

Are you using a dampa mount on the Zeiss?

Sorry it's taken me so long, here are some pictures.

I've added the piston and spring from my other 25mm internals 77k in .177, Venom is .22.

    Thanks.

It looks like the venom seal adds a couple of mm of stroke.

2-3mm by the look of it, I forgot to measure the difference before putting it back together.

I've been spending a bit of time with the Venom, recording dimensions of internals for interested parties and cleaning, relubing, etc. One thing that has come up is the depth of the piston seal, 8mm, I believe this is shallower than later Venom/Vmach seals. Certainly shallower than the OE seal.
