Manically gushing positive reviews full of exclamation marks like that are why I stopped reading AirGunner about 25 years ago.

I agree, the article is too positive.
But, the gun is a lot of fun to use.
I tested it (the Ultishot) last weekend and it blasts five beer cans away in one shot at 15 yards. That puts a smile on my face.
I would never use it for hunting though.
Even at fac power (I measured about 30 ft/lbs with .362 round balls; it's difficult to get consistent readings because I think that my chrony is struggling with the toilet paper wads).
I think the shot just needs a lot more power for hunting.
Good thing that I'm a plinker.
At 15 yards, I was getting 30 cm groups with 2.5 mm shot behind 5 .177 Gamo lead bb's.

For the Trapmaster, I have found a "thrower". Can't wait to test the gun the way it was meant to be used: for short range trap shooting.

Nice to see the Instruction manual & exploded view of the Trapmaster.

Interesting that Crosman gave great safety advice with their airguns even back in the 60s
