    what are they like for a budget ffp only to be used during the lighter months cheers

    No idea on the NS,
    but can highly recommend the Optisan EVX 4-16x44 F1 which is around the same price level.

    The nikko diamond scopes are a quality scope great glass and very accurate and well made
