Walther LP53 for sale ca. 1971

    Sold

Lovely condition for age. Supplied in period case.

Steel barrel probe is missing from cocking aid but it can still be used.

Perfect working order and accurate over its designed 10 m range.

The Mayor: Intent? How did you establish that?
Harry Callahan: When a man is chasing a woman through an alley with a butcher’s knife and a hard-on, I figure he isn’t out collecting for the Red Cross.

You would be better posting that RMSD. More reliable, quicker and more insurance

    lp53

Just to say that all cocking knobs were not fitted with the barrel insert a lot of them are just plane wood with the hole drilled in the back. Those that do have a insert can be of brass and also of a plastic material .If fitted they do not normally drop out i would have thought. The box you have there is a delux one and would have a tin of 100 pellets in the other hole in the case. It would be nice to see pics of lid of the case.

Is the case a genuine Walther item, or one made as a copy, albeit a good one?

Having had several cased LP53's in the past, I would say this one is definitely a replica, as the buyer has accepted.
