    Which size mount...

I have recently purchased a Hawke Sport HD 3-9x50 Scope which I intend to mount on my CZ S200T (same as AA S200). Is anyone able to advise the correct size mounts? The tube is 1” however I’m not sure if it should have medium or high mounts.

Anyone have any thoughts regarding this? I’m leaning towards high mounts to make sure there is enough clearance to load the pellets.

Most mounts have a mm height measurement on them. I think it is to the bottom of the tube but you should check on that. If the tube is 25mm then take the largest diameter of the front end with lens caps, take off 25mm and then half this figure to give you the absolute minimum mount height. Add a couple of mm just to make sure.

Thankyou for this. The only issue I have is that I am currently abroad and was hoping to order the mounts ahead so when I return home for a break which will only be for a short period, I can get stuck in straight away.

The Hawke mounts I was looking at are either, low, medium or high. No mention of measurements.

    Scope mounts medium vs high

I have a 44 mm Hawke scope on my HW95L which has a 2"/51mm objective lens and with medium rings I have less than 1/8" clearance. 50mm objective lens would require high rings in my opinion. I believe that Hawke 50 mm objective lens has a 2.2"/57mm diameter measurement. Pic for reference.

If your S200 is fitted with the multishot magazine conversion or you intend fitting that kit you will need high mounts to clear the magazine.

If you intend to get a scope with a 50mm front end, then you will certainly need high mounts.

Thankyou everyone for the help. I have bought a set of high mounts to play it safe.

    All the best

Well the other issue is that as the scope gets jacked up, your eyeball doesnt so some work to the stock maybe required if there is no adjustable cheek piece

The stock is adjustable on the 200T so thankfully no eye relocation surgery will be required :-) My main concern was making sure there is sufficient clearance for the scope and also for loading the pellet under the scope.
