    Scope help needed

Ive bought a very nice little Bugbuster 3-12x32, looking to put it on my .25 Spitfire, I'm really unsure on what mounts to use. Is the Spitfire fitted with a 13mm Maxirail? Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Joe
My Spitfire is fitted with the maxi rail, I think they are 14mm.

If it's your rifle why don't you just measure whatever is there

For the height it's whatever puts the scope in front of your eye, again either measure it or buy the medium & if wrong exchange it for the correct one.

You can probably get mounts designed specifically for that size rail but ponder this before you do.......

If you have a set of mounts for the scope already does it really matter if they are designed for 11mm rails? At worst your scope wil be 2mm off centre so your aim will never be off by more than 2mm. Are you and your rifle so accurate that it will make a difference?

So I say, if you have mounts already give them a go and see if you really think your accuracy suffers as a result.
    Rich.
