    Chronograph advice please

    Good evening my learned friends.
I have a 'end of barrel' type at the moment, but would like a pukka bench jobbie that does not have the big wire posts, just a no messing hole and display in ft/lbs. I only use AA Field pellets in all my rifles, so once I set the weight for .22 and .177, hopefully most of the faff will be eliminated.

    Your thoughts please.

I had a Caldwell Ballistic and got fed up setting it up all the time so I got one of these, just last week..

    Brilliant pieces of kit.

Shooting Air Rifles is like being a pubic hair on a toilet seat.
Eventually someone comes a long and P's you off.
    They usually have a PCP

Got a Skan here Peter. Love it. Used an FX Radar too, which is great, but haven't got one.

I've got the old type skan, Like a shoe box and does fps only but it's easy to work out, After a while you will know roughly what the ftlbs are without having to work out, Anyway these come up from time to time and normally very cheap, But if I was after something newer I would just buy another Skan unit, They seem to be about the best for the money, There are some good ones for around the £130 price range but for the extra I would definitely go for the skan.

I would buy something that works under florescent lighting.
I have a Caldwell chronometer, works outside, great data hookup for shot strings.
I have a cheap Chinese one for use in the workshop. Works in the presence of fluorescent lighting but only reads in mps.

    I also like the Skan.

Another vote for the LMBR R2A. I've had mine for 3 years and had no trouble with it.
