    In defence of Air Arms

Just to counter the more usual tales of woe
I've been dealing with AA over the phone in the last week or two trying to get a part of the new MPR to fit to my 410. Well, it's in my top pocket now and I'm looking forward to actually fitting the thing for the weekends shooting.
Many thanks to Air Arms and particularly Bill Sanders.

Is that for post and shoe only or the 3rd sear too. Does the post and shoe work on the two sear set-up or is the 3rd sear mandatory?

    Darren,
you should have an e-mail with a pic attatched by now.
Thirty quid is for the trigger post and shoe only. The third sear parts (all the sears are replaced iirc) would cost about the same again.
As far as I can tell the post and shoe should work with either sear arrangement without any problems.

    Chris,

Vaguely recall you posting a while back saying that the post/shoe wouldn't fit inside a standard AA trigger guard - is that still the case?

I do like a nice trigger

    Dan,
I don't remember saying that myself but then I can't remember what I had for breakfast. Bill Sanders checked with one of the gunsmiths and was told that it would fit a standard 4*0.
I can't categorically state that it will fit, I can't fit it until I get home on Friday. It does look like it should fit without a problem.
Chris Ballard might be worth asking as I know that he got one too, maybe he has already fitted his.
